Employee Education Roadshow

BMG partnered with UK Power Networks to deliver the Toolkit Trailer Roadshow, a central element of the company’s internal communications and safety engagement programme.

Designed to educate internal teams on new safety equipment and introduce frontline personnel to a Ring Main Unit, BMG deployed a 5m trailer with an extended viewing stage. The setup included a complementary branded marquee displaying personal protective equipment, creating a dedicated space for expert safety teams to deliver hands-on guidance.

The roadshow visited nearly 20 sites across the region, ranging from operational utility depots to major public venues such as the Imperial War Museum Duxford and the South of England Showground.

The Challenge

To deliver a comprehensive internal communications roadshow that could effectively showcase heavy electrical equipment and new safety tools directly to frontline engineers across diverse, spread-out operational sites.

BMG created a multi-functional mobile setup incorporating a customised 5m trailer housing the Ring Main Unit, an expanded viewing stage for live engineering demonstrations, and an integrated branded marquee for PPE displays.

We managed tour execution across nearly 20 varied locations, coordinating site logistics for both internal operational facilities and large-scale public venues including IWM Duxford and the South of England Showground.

The roadshow drove widespread internal reach and deep workforce engagement, using hands-on demonstrations and accessible specialist advice to upskill frontline personnel and successfully prepare teams for the new equipment rollout.
