As the Wales based group of colleges looked to recruit for its 2024/25 academic year they decided to try a new strategy - roadshow marketing! As they serve communities across a wide area of Wales this strategy was a great fit and so the Choices Roadshow was born!
Using our Roadshow Starter Package, the tour visited five locations across Powys in five days, targeting areas of high footfall including high streets, supermarkets and regular street markets. The College's marketing team worked with local councils and businesses to find sites and used information and documents provided by BMG to vet the locations and make sure they were suitable for the trailer.
BMG created all branding and took care of logistics, while the college used local staff in each area, as well as their central marketing team, to chat to visitors and explain the courses available.
With a fixed, all inclusive price, the Roadshow Starter Package was a great fit for this kind of project as it allowed the college to seek funding with peace of mind that there would be no hidden costs and everything would be covered.
